This web-site is dedicated to the archery career of Jake Brock. Jake began shooting at the young age of 13 and has been shooting for about 2 years now. Jake is committed to promoting the sport of archery through shooting competitions, helping fellow competitors and promoting archery to those who are curious, especially to youth which are the future of archery.
Jake currently lives in Geneseo, Illinois and spends most of his practice time shooting at home, Davenport Valley Archers in Long Grove, Iowa, Griswold Archery in Cameron, Illinois or B & B Shooting Supplies in Bettendorf, Iowa.
For the 2009 season Jake will be "blazing new trails in bow technology". He just signed a contract with Ben Pearson Archery as a Factory Pro Staff shooter. He is very excited about representing Team Pearson this year. He is shooting a Pearson Z34 Target bow and is anxiously awaiting the start of the 2009 indoor season. His first impressions of this bow are that it is extremely solid, very quiet and extremely fast. This first bow is a Solo Cam bow, but his next staff bow will be the NEW R2B2 Binary cam which has "blazing speeds". He shoots GoldTip 30xPros for indoors and GoldTip Pro400 for outdoors and 3D. Jake shoots the TruBall ST-360 release as well as the TruBall Sweet Spot II-Ultra 3 back tension release.
